Upcoming Events

Well it has been a busy few months. And now Spring is here. Floriade will be on soon and there are flowers out everywhere in my garden. And it is the start of what I think of as the social season. It is this time of year that everyone seems to start getting together with friends and enjoying themselves. So I thought I would let you know the relevant Stampin' Up! dates for the rest of the year so you can plan.

World Card Making day - this is a world wide event to celebrate creativity. It is on Saturday 3 October, so pull out your supplies and get a few friends together and get creative over a glass of wine or two. There will be a related special coming up from Stampin' Up! that will run through all of October.

Watercolor Wonder crayons - don't know how to use your crayons or only use them for basic water colouring? Here is a class full of different techniques with these wonderful tools. Sunday 25 October 2 to 5pm.

Boxes and Bags - have you seen some of the wonderful handmade boxes others have made and wondered how to do them yourself? We will be making 5 different boxes or bags through the course of this class and you will be able to take home the templates for even more. Sunday 22 November 2 to 5 pm. $25.

Christmas Stamp-a-stack III - Your last chance to finish your Christmas cards before it is too late to post them. Sunday 6 December 2 to 5 pm. $25

Christmas Stamp-a-stack II

The Christmas Stamp-a-stack in July was so successful that I thought we should do another one. After all most of us would send more Christmas cards than any other sort of card in the year. And we send them all at once so getting an early start and working on them consistently is the only way to avoid rushing in December to get them finished. We will be making 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs.

When: Sunday 20 September, 2pm to 5pm.
Where: My place
How much: $25 includes all materials and afternoon tea.

My Next Class...

Petal Pizzazz

When: 2.30pm to 5.30pm Sunday 2 May.
Where: My place, RSVP to get the address
How much: $25 includes all class materials. Payment options are cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
What: We will make the box, and four coordinating cards shown above. We will be using different colours and paper by the result will be just as spectacular. You will receive a detailed handout with all the instructions and techniques used, and templates so that you will be able to make more at home.
RSVP: by Wednesday 21 April by email.

Class-to-go option: If you can't make it to the class you can still take advantage of it.
When: the class pack will be available for collection or to post three days before the class is held. You will then be able to do the class in your own time.
How much: If you purchase just the class pack then it will be $25 however if you put in an order of $150 or more at the same time you request the class pack then you will receive the class pack for free. Please note that postage is extra on both the class pack and the order.
What: The class pack will include a highly detailed handout that is easy to follow, all the card stock, ribbon and consumables required to make one full set of cards and the gift box. You will need to have access to certain equipment such as the stamp set etc. I will provide you with a list of these items via email when you request the class-to-go so you will know if you need to order any items.

Ribbon Clubs

Like the ribbons and want all the colours but don’t want to buy a whole roll you might never use? Sign up for a ribbon club and you pay a set amount for a length of each colour ribbon in the range you select. You get all the colours in that range but don’t have to buy a whole roll of each.
